Corindus Evaluates Incorporating HeartFlow Technology with CorPath GRX System
We are undergoing a case series of robotic-assisted PCI procedures with CorPath GRX incorporating the HeartFlow® FFRct Analysis to evaluate the feasibility and utility of clinical decision support. The HeartFlow FFRct Analysis is a non-invasive technology that provides insight into both the extent of coronary artery disease and the impact of the disease on blood flow to the heart. Using data from a patient’s non-invasive coronary CT angiogram and powerful algorithms, HeartFlow technology creates a personalized digital 3D model of the patient’s coronary arteries which physicians can use to assess the impact of blockages on coronary blood flow. This is an exciting announcement as we remain steadfast in our approach to enhance the field of cardiology with the utilization of advanced tools. By integrating vascular robotic technology with sophisticated and innovative tools, such as HeartFlow, we continue taking steps forward to optimize patient care.

The CorPath Experience: Wellspan York Hospital
WellSpan York Hospital has been a CorPath user since 2015, beginning their robotic program with CorPath 200. Over the years, the hospital has contributed to and experienced the benefits of robotic-assisted PCI firsthand. Following input from WellSpan interventional cardiologists on plans and prototypes, the hospital upgraded to CorPath GRX in June 2017. WellSpan York Hospital is committed to providing excellent cardiovascular care to its patients in southcentral Pennsylvania. This includes its robotic program that offers precision benefits to their patients and radiation safety for their physicians and staff. The facility was the first in the state of Pennsylvania to perform robotic-assisted PCI with the second generation CorPath GRX System. They pride themselves on providing top-notch cardiovascular services and are excited to be the only hospital in Pennsylvania to currently offer this vascular robotic technology. Recently, WellSpan York Hospital released a video showcasing CorPath GRX in their cath lab. We are looking forward to the continued growth of their robotic program!
The CorPath GRX System is intended for use in the remote delivery and manipulation of guidewires and rapid exchange balloon/stent catheters, and remote manipulation of guide catheters during percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures.
The CorPath 200 System is intended for use in the remote delivery and manipulation of coronary guidewires and balloon/stent catheters during PCI procedures and in the remote delivery and manipulation of guidewires and rapid exchange catheters during percutaneous vascular interventional procedures.
